Known throughout the world as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, Manchester has a proud history in science, politics, music, arts and sport. Now you can discover much of that history from the top deck of a bus. The green Sightseeing Manchester hop-on hop-off open top sightseeing bus tour takes you on a 90-minute trip round the Manchester city centre and the modern waterfront developments at Salford Quays. There are 15 stops, with the route carefully planned to take you round some of Manchester’s main sights with a commentary by ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Lost’ actor Dominic Monaghan.

Premium Manchester Music Story Bus Tour (4 hours)

The Princess Katherine: A modern sightseeing boat with indoor and outdoor seating for 90 persons. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic refreshments are available onboard. Not suitable for disabled and wheelchair users, there is one step up and four steps down in order to board the vessel. How to get to Stockport

Trains run regularly between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport (Journey approx 10 minutes). It takes 25-30 minutes to drive to Stockport from Manchester city centre.

Accessibility: Please be aware that the Brewery Tour is around a working traditional tower brewery and as such involves steep stairways and some narrow walkways. Unfortunately, the Brewery Tour is not Wheelchair assessable. Induction Loops are available, Please ask at the front reception and switch Hearing Aids to the ‘T’ position to use this facility.  Please wear suitable shoes (avoid open toe shoes, heels and flip flops)
